Judging
Not too sure what to do yet but just received my judges ticket. Would like to promote pro fights and judges aren't allowed to promote. I know I could do my arse promoting but if I'm not judging I can always corner some boys not sure at this stage but would like to know what others think even though the decision is up to me.

You can always go back to judging if promoting dosn't work out.
If your passion is still with helping in the corner and promoting then go with it.

I took up judging as a way to stay involved in the sport I love. But as a former trainer I've since been offered to work the corner of one of my past fighters. As a judge I'm not allowed to do that and I wasn't aware that I couldn't even be a bucket boy. Also to get judges jobs I have to travel to Brisbane after work which is a few hours drive. I've been promoting a few corporate shows and think I can do okay as a professional promoter.

I train some amatuer boxer's and some of these [NOT ALL] people who judge boxing match's couldn't even spell the word boxing judge they give some kid their vote because
Their the home town boy, and even get swayed by a drunken hometown crowd what happen's in a lot of case's the kid that get's robbed losses interest the kid who get's the bull....
