Not a bad assessment Adam, Staum did seemed a little hurt at one stage of his DLH fight. However, I was impressed with his stamina and work rate - I think he can fight a similar fight as Tatesvyan, but slightly better and enough to get a closish (but uncontervisial) decision.
i personally think eastman would win that sturm is alright but nothing special, tight guard and a decent jab u need a bit more than that to beat eastman.
as for robert allen last night what a joke :x eastman would have put more effort in than that joker.
Eastman would take Sturm. Eastman would probably have him on points in a tough one with that high guard of Sturms. Being a natural middle Eastman would handle him much better than de la hoya did, has oscar gone one division too far?
Very hard to judge how someone would do against Eastman by a performance against DLH, they're totally different fighters. Size and strength would be in Eastman's favour, whereas Sturm had the advantage at the weekend. Eastman would take shots better and punch back harder, making Sturm more defensively-minded I'd have thought. It'd be a good fight, mind.
sure, beating a blow-up light welterweight (which is really what DLH is, he jerked the scales earlier in his career), who has never fought at the weight, is the same as fighting a career long middleweight with a hard shot, and a fantastic chin.
Two words - MY ARSE!
For my money, there are plenty of middleweights who would beat DLH. He isn't big enough, nor strong enough, and he's too slow at 160.
