Sonny Liston heart underrated.

He stood up to Cleveland Williams bombs. One of which broke his nose then came back to knock him out. Also Marty Marshall broke his jaw and Liston fought the rest of the fight with it. He fought 6 rounds with a broken jaw. 6 rounds. Fighting with a broken jaw is not easy.

I agree. What Ali did to him was of the mind not the heart.

I also think Liston had fought less than 6 rounds in 3 and a half years. He wasn't the fighter he and we thought he was at that point in his career...

I concur. A man with no heart would have folded under that fierce bombardment from the Big Cat. To come back and turn the tables was highly impressive, and scary.
