Mundine was happy being evasive and jabbing... Basically rolling with Rabchenko's shots for the first 2 minutes of each round and then trying to steal the round with some well timed counter rights.
Rabchenko wasting WAY too much on Mundine's arms and loss the little sting he had. Mundine was more efficient with his offense. Rabchenko had nice moments with some liver work but didn't remain focus on it and again wasted lots of flurries.
I was pleased to see that two judges had some idea on how to judge a fight Rabchenko got Mundine in a spot of bother in a couple of the rounds but THE MAN showed everyone that Rabchenko was a over protected B CLASS FIGHTER WE THE ABORIGINAL PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY SHOULD SALUTE YOU ANTHONY MUNDINE FOR WHAT YOU DID LAST NIGHT AT 39 YEARS OF AGE. GODS SPEED BROTHER.

Haven't seen the fight yet but the fact that Mundine was not even remotely competitive with a blown-up welter in his previous fight probably had a lot to do with those odds.
Definitely could have been scored either way. After 8 rounds, judges had a draw, Rabchenko clearly won rounds 10 and 11, so how in the world could he lose ?
... and how delusional Mundine team is if they think that Mayweather or Canelo would fight him after this pathetic performance.

Well let's see for the first 4 rounds I was scoring the fight on the normal 10 point must system giving round's 1/3/4 to mundine round 2 was even in my view so up to this point I had mundine up 40/37 forgive me but for the next 8 round's decided to get rid of pen and pad judge the fight on sight the more enjoyable way to watch a fight I guess I was feeling a fair bit more relaxed after the first four rounds as mundine was more than holding his own [or yare by the way I'm a mundine fan] he mundine surely got rocked on two separate occasion's and hurt from some great body shot's from rabchenko but at age 39 mundine sucked it all up and went on to win a deserved point's dec, mundine also hurt rabchenko on atleast two separate occasion's and controlled the tempo/pace of the fight and was the ring general for most of the rounds the round that mundine got caught with some heavy shot's I think it was round 9 but don't hold me to it because by this stage I was getting pretty nervous I had mundine winning the round until he got caught so I did give the round to rabchenko as for round's 11/12 mundine won these two rounds to cement the fight AS FOR BEING A; B GRADE FIGHTER CHECK HIS[MUNDINE'S] RECORD EASILY BEATIN BETTER FIGHTERS THAN HIS 28 YEAR OLD UNDEFEATED WBC NUMBER 2 RANKED OPPONENT 6/7 YEARS AGO RABCHENKO WOULD'NT HAVE GOT A JOB HAS HIS SPARRING PARTNER NOT BAD FOR A FORMER PROFFESIONAL RUGBY LEAGUE PLAYER WHO HAD ONLY 2/3 AMATUER FIGHTS AND ANOTHER THING B GRADE FIGHTER'S DON'T MAKE 8 MILLION PLUS BUCK'S FOR ONE FIGHT.

Yes, Mundine had better times when he could have been considered better than a B fighter. However, now he is B at best, humiliated by Clottey and having a very close fight with a B level Rabchenko.

Just finished watching it. Pretty good scrap and I think the split decision was perfect.
After being crushed by Clottey..............who had not been a relevant fighter for a few years.............I thought Mundine really needed to hang it up but he turned in a good performance.
Mayweather is not going to bother with Mundine.
Neither will Canelo or Cotto
You don't land fights with those guys by beating nobodies in Australia.
He should look into a fight with Cornelius Bundrage or Jermain Taylor.
I think Mundine has a solid shot at beating either of them. "The Man" has some embarrassing losses on his resume so it wouldn't surprise me if he got absolutely crushed by either Bundrage or Taylor but imo they are the most vulnerable belt holders in his weight range.
