I thought he was fortunate to get the nod over Buckland but fair play to the lad ,he had the toughest route and hopefully we'll see him again ,he's rapid and has a bit of flash about him which should make people sit up and take notice

Beat Foster comfortably, very lucky against Buckland, didn't bother watching the final.

If he's going to have any success in the future, he can't fight like last night, he either needs to get some power into his punches, or start landing clean, otherwise he isn't going to win rounds.

He is a talented boxer. I judged his first 2 pro fights here in Aus.

The talk around the gyms here was that he had enormous talent. It didn't surprise me he won the Prize fighter. And he has potential to have a huge career if he can remain dedicated and train hard.

I thought he went in with a game plan that was specific to Prizefighter and was exactly what was needed. God only knows how the first fight was a split decision, i thought he'd done enough to beat Buckland but didn't watch the final.

Going on the commentary, he fought very differently in this to how he did in his last fight and if that's the case then he does have a bright future. If you can adapt your game plan to different requirements then you've got a head start on most.

Good luck to him and his eyebrows!!

Speaking to the trainer he worked with here in Perth. He said no one could touch him in the gym. He was the most talented fighter he had seen in his 40 years in the sport.
It's a big wrap.
Only time will tell how far Jono can go.
