Roberto Reynosa 70's Heavyweight

Post by Dart340 »

According to the November 1979 Ring Magazine article by Mike Marley, Roberto Reynosa fought under the alias "Juanito Fernandez", who suffered four KO losses in the same time period. If records should not/could not be merged, then can notation be made on both records?

Here is the quote from the feature article "Today's 10 worst Heavyweights"

"And if you're a schizophrenic, then you'll have company when Roberto is around. He has done his routine under the name Juanito Fernandez. And he may be coming to your town soon. He's from that stable of stiffs operated by Blackie Ramon, who, collectively, avoid victory at all costs".

Also note that Marvin Johnson's win over a "debuting" someone named "Ishmael Vargas" is believed by local boxing folks here in Indy to be Reynosa as well.
