Plan was always to go for the IBF, WBO seemed to be the backup route if that didn't come off. Seems like they've sorted the Tete fight for March though.

How can the man even start to think about chasing that silly belt, when somewhere out there, TBA is rising through the ranks and calling him out.

Paul Butler's a world class fighter and one of my favs but im not sure if the gap between domestic level and world level in the smaller weights weights is wider than the gap in the bigger ones

I know Butler's already won a world title up at BW but i dont know enough about the wee men apart from the fact that they are very good, you worry that Paul for however talented he is,he's maybe not getting the quality grooming in UK to prepare him for the Hispanics and Asians

Someone asked Paul Butler on twitter and Butler seems to think Inoue would travel. Someone seems to think he'd be the A-side in that clash

Hard to say though he did just main event in front of 10,000 at the Toyko Metro gym and has a major TV deal with a free to air TV channel that effectively bank rolls his bouts, hence how he has managed to lure 2 world champions over there this year. Butler might sell more tickets but lacks the significant TV money that Inoue gets...oh and the audience...I'll get you that number when it's released but I'm happy to say it's going to be tens of times more than the entire subscription base of that channel Butler fights on...

Inoue's definitely the draw then, can't see Butler travelling though. The viewing figures aren't really important to be honest, it's how much the TV channel is willing to pay for the fight, even if they're paying big money, Frank could match it, but he'd have to dig deep and it's not the sort of fight I can see him doing it for.

IBF has been the plan since Tete won as he will travel to the UK.

Money talks so fighters will travel. Said it before it seems there is big money in Japan no way would that fight happen here.

Just watched Inoue v Narvaez though and Inoue looked lethal. Considering what he has achieved in 7 fights without being an elite amatuer shows he is a serious talent.

Its frightening he is 21 imagine when he hits his peak strength.

Sounds like Derry's got a big fight on the same bill, Abril maybe?
