Come on Eddie put another fight on for the 31st!

Post by TopGun »

I'm going to this show and was looking forward to the Joshua fight. Now that it is off I personally don't think the undercard is that great IMO.

Eddie can you not get a few more fighters on there? perhaps some bigger names, only if you put them on to blow away some journeyman? Be good to see a few more well known fighters.......

Maybe not the big names your hoping for but Goodjohn-Hibbert and Martin-Boylan should be crackers

I'm looking forward to Kevin Mitchells fight with Daniel Estrada,Daniel gave Figueroa some problems in his world title challenge

Agreed bookies have them as 50/50s and a second loss in a row for Boylan could set him back.

The big let down on top of AJ is John Ryder not getting a decent fight. Not that convinced with Sherrington on paper hope he turns up decent.

What happened to the Ryder vs Hieland fight that was rumoured to have been on this card anyway?

Think Heiland's fighting Lemieux next, WBC eliminator, Hearn mentioned him pushing for it at the WBC convention. It was always a non starter, Heiland beat Macklin in an eliminator, one more would leave him mandatory for the title, but he was going to drop down a level and fight Ryder with nothing on the line according to some. The rumour came from Hearn saying they'd offered him the fight.

Agreed with that. Ryder should be in a better fight than this in my opinion. Then the Joshua pull out which would always have been annoying wouldn't have left such a gaping hole.

Ryder should be fight spike osullivan or etches. Does anybody really care about his next fight, fighting some guy noonehas heard of. Why not give us a good domestic scrap?

Really ? - you want to watch that ?

I would rather watch 2 evenly matched boxers myself, but each to their own.

The boxers don't need to be well known so why not give a couple of lads an opportunity of boxing on a bigger show ?

Thats what he does on all undercards. 90-10 matches. IMO opinion watching a name beat down on an Argentinian from the division below is no use to anyone.

Are these guys matchroom boxers? As hearn seems to have a track record for doing 50/50 fights when they are not matchroom fighters, its just his own fighters he does not like putting in these types of fights!

I like Audley. He attracts big numbers. The banter against someone like Dave Allen could be outrageous!

You can see it coming...
