It is my understanding that Chavez is #2 contender for the WBO Championship and since #1 Pernell Whitaker is also #1 for WBC which has a mandatory in week 17, WBO Champion Tony Canzoneri challenges Juan.... :o ...ahem....One Julio Cesar Chavez for the WBO Championship
