This is the best book on how to box that I know of.

That cover photograph kind of reminds me,did Max Baer ever write a 'how to box" book too?

Yes. It stressed the importance of training, fundamentals,training, not relying on just on your right hand, not telegraphing your punches, and of course, always taking your opponent seriously.

I guess you didn't realize that I was kidding.
Seriously, I like Baer. He was a good guy, and a colorful figure who put butts in the seats. Better than more than 99% of the fighters who have laced up the gloves.
