Yeah and didn't he nearly take off Mike Quarry's head in one of his defences too.

Turn it the other way round though and Foster's thrashing at the hands of Joe Frazier was pretty brutal too. Last left hook nearly sent Foster's head into the crowd.

Bob Foster was a brutal brutal puncher. Think of an orthodox Antonio Tarver with more speed, strength and snap, and you may get the picture. I think he's the only man ever to cut Muhammad Ali.
