James Douglass Pro Debut.
For James Douglas who beat Mike Tyson, box list his first two fights as bouts, but they were fought with headgear. Does this make them exhibitions.......I think so , does anyone know for sure...........please post answers..........

Douglas didn't wear headgear, only his opponents.
Dan O'Malley, a friend of Billy Douglas, reluctantly stepped in when the original opponent failed to show. He wrote a hilarious article about the beating Buster gave him in a 1990 Boxing Illustrated article, after Douglas/Tyson. They were full contact fights but yes, odd they are listed as proper fights.
