Miguel Cotto signs with Roc Nation

Good move.

I think this move is more about Miguel's future outside of boxing then in boxing from the sounds of it. I also think when the options your handshake agreement promoter is giving you are two guys two divisions below you you can probably look into better options for the fans as well as yourself.

Except that most top middleweights will beat Cotto, so he will still likely fight a light middle and doubtfully one from top 5.

Thats the case whoever he's with. And it sounds like it's going to be Cornelius next so yea. The 147lbers were still a bit silly though.

And again its my opinion this ain't about his boxing career so much as his post-boxing career. I'm assuming MC Promotions will be including in this deal & wouldn't be surprised if Miguel gets some RocNation VP of something sorta gig post boxing.
