Sh!t a 51 year old sparring at all is impressive

This is still another embarrassing "comeback" for boxing. Its a testament to the low point of entry in boxing. The low quality control of the sport is shameful. Troy Aikman was a bad mofo back in the day, but if he cameback he'd get merked before he even made it into a preseason game most likely. In boxing Razor will probably go undefeated til he retires again on this current comeback. Sad & embarrassing as a boxing fan.

What happened to his last 'comeback'?

I remember he announced about 4 years ago that he was returning & that he was down to 211 lbs, then nothing.

Will this 'comeback' be the same?

He's probably using this comeback to help promote sales of his trash-compacter. His opponent, Ray "Mt Kilimanjaro" Olubowale, is a youthful 44. Very sad he could get a boxing license.

It is very hard for fighters or athletes to retire because it is all we know and with boxers there is no retirement plan to fall back on california offers one if you fight 10 times there before you retire. As I hope to because I believe I have 3-4 more fights there before I can recieve it. But I usually invest my money on stuff so I won't have to come out of retirement when I decide to retire. Sad to see guys that have to fight for the money and not the love, as I am sure all of us fighters have done before, but I wish him a safe return I am 33 and couldn't imagine doing it still in 17 years.

According to boxrec, he's on a 10 win streak, so in current form, he wins this

Doesn't Gerry Cooney got some sort of group that helps fighters get jobs/careers post boxing?

And more states/countries should do the pension sorta deal CA does. Thats a solid idea (edit: actually reading about this right now cuz I'm legit curious how it all works).

I have all the paperwork so I have to go over it all and see how works also but would be great if they would have that for fighters world wide if you complete so many rounds or so many fights you could get a retirement plan or something to make it to were they didn't have to come out of retirement because most fighters do not have much to fall back on after boxing and if they do there fortunate to have people that actually look out for them and make sure they do right with there money while there making it

It's ok everyone, there's nothing to be concerned about- he's gone vegan. He was being poisoned for years by THE MAN, who wants you to eat meat and drink Tropicana to KILL YOU. Now, he'll be in better than prime form.

I just realized I fought Raymond Olunowale he is pretty basic big but basic I should never be in there with a guy that size and I did ok with him and I am not a true heavyweight like Donovan so I believe even at his age he still has the power to win this fight best of luck to both of them

That's fornicating classic, third post on a thread about a fighter and realise you've actually already fought the big bastard

Did the 272lb, 6'7" man you fought just slip your mind Galen?

That is a true sign that I have had to many fights lol because he is big as hell but they called him a different name there it wasn't Raymond so I guess I just never put 2 and 2 together i was just looking at 51 and fighting not who he was fighting that is what was amazing to me didn't really care who he was fighting but makes me a little more into the fight now
