Audley on the weight...

Post by bennie »

Audley Harrison scaled 17st 7lbs at the weigh-in for his 12-rounder with Tomasz Bonin - which is what he weighed for his last two fights.
Bonin came in at 16st 12 1/4lbs.
At 6ft 6in, Harrison will also be five inches taller than his opponent.

Yeah, but Bonin is basically built like a prime 1970 Joe Frazier, but with even more handspeed, better defense and upper body movement, and power in both fists. Really ballsy move by Audley, this one. Even if he loses, he'll gain massive respect just for taking on this kind of a beast of a heavyweight.

Against a guy like Bonin you can throw the size and weight equation right out the window, mate.

I wasn't being serious, Matchfixer - just seem to have forgotten to add multiple "drippingly sarcastic" emoticons to my post.
