It'll be interesting to see how the impact of PBC reflects upon the non-Haymon fighters moving forward. They've already got Julio Jr on board & I've seen rumors suggesting Mikey Garcia is on board & once all that TR stuff gets worked out that'll be announced. It seems like PBC will be the place to be. Mainstream eyes on you. Bigger paydays for whatever level of guys you fight it seems like. More ability for staying active (only so many HBO dates & all that). I expect an exodus of bigger names in the next year or two if things keep moving like they are.
And I think right now as a young guy coming up you definitely wanna connect with PBC cuz its gonna be difficult to get any eyes on you moving forward unless you are down with PBC. PBC gots damn near all the TV locked up & in 2-4 years all those guys who are on Spike, NBC, NBC Sports, etc & so on will be THE GUYS people are talking about as the next guys or the guys they just love watching. That reality for PBC will be huge for them.

Im totally on the PBC bandwagon, however, there are still a big few names they need to sign up... Golovkin, Kovalev, Ward, Crawford, Alvarez, to name but a few.
Im not too bothered about the likes of Klitschko, Pacquiao and Marquez, they are approaching the end of their careers and its all about the next generation!
The biggest non-Haymon fighter set to fight on a PBC card is currently Andy Lee, so it will be interesting to see if any bigger named non-Haymon fighters agree to fight on PBC without actually becoming an Haymon fighter, or more accurately, if Haymon allows a bigger named fighter to fight on a PBC card without first signing a contract with him...
Klitschko vs Wilder perhaps! Im pretty sure Klitschko would accept if the money was right, but would Haymon allow Klitschko to fight on PBC without first signing a PBC contract and risk having his No.1 heavyweight Wilder losing!

This will definitely be interesting to watch. I'm not even sure if guys are outside of the PBC web post-fight or not. Maybe you gotta sign something with Al or the promoter to keep Andy in this example in the PBC family even if you don't officially become a Haymon fighter. Maybe its just if you win, maybe its just an option that can be taken or passed on. Idk. I don't think that anyone necessarily knows yet how that'll all work but I know history shows the power brokers in the sport tend to wanna keep guys who beat "their guys" on their side of the field. It would be odd if Al/PBC didn't have something in place to deal with this too.PokerRob wrote: The biggest non-Haymon fighter set to fight on a PBC card is currently Andy Lee, so it will be interesting to see if any bigger named non-Haymon fighters agree to fight on PBC without actually becoming an Haymon fighter, or more accurately, if Haymon allows a bigger named fighter to fight on a PBC card without first signing a contract with him...
