Finally.

IBF ordered #1 Hassan N’Dam and #5, David Lemieux to negotiate. No deal. So purse bids to be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 12 Noon

It takes so long though.. Probably the fight will take part Late May/Early June, which is quite a shame because this will leave GGG without opponents for August/September

I think if Lemieux manages to get into the ring with N'Dam, he will stop the Frenchman and then DLH wouldn't let him fight GGG right away anyway. I have more hopes in Lee beating Quillin than N'Dam beating Lemieux.

I'm excited for this fight. I think they're evenly matched and each possesses qualities that can significantly trouble the other. While some may see Lemieux as highly similar to Stevens I believe he's busier and more comfortable on the front foot than Stevens, who sits back a lot and seems most content locked in place where he can catch punches on his gloves and punch in between, especially with the left hook. I think that Lemieux will be less prone to following the mobile N'dam around like a lost puppy without throwing, but I still suspect that he'll look relatively slow and crude at times.

I hope that the winner fights GGG shortly after.
