I can see Crawford winning on points, if he can avoid that left hook for 12 rounds.

Not that it means much now, but I believe Crawford beat Garcia in the amateurs, and avoided the big hook just fine. With Crawford just getting to 140, and Garcia getting ready to leave, I don't see it happening soon. Both find a way to win, so if they do fight it would be a great fight. It would be hard for me to bet against Crawford though.

Crawford has a lot of class about him, and is going to be a top dog in the future. If they fought now though, I would have to give it to Garcia. We have no idea of knowing how well TC would cope with Danny's power. TC has the ability to potentially outbox DG, but I think the power would be a leveller, and slow Terrence down. Garcia on points with a potential knockdown during the fight to give him a close decision.

I think Danny is on his way out of 140 so this fight isn't likely to happen til both are at 147 which is probably gonna be around 2017 give or take.

Having said that both of these guys have made me believers in them from winning fights I thought they'd lose. Terence vs Yuri & Danny a couple of fights even before the Lucas fight when I was a believer in Danny. I'm still a lil split on this fight for that reason. I'd like to see what Terence can do at 140 since he's unproven there too.

Still not sold on Crawford. He was a big lightweight but Gamboa looked like he was 2 weight classes below. He wont have a size advantage at jw. He looks like gold but still unproven.

I hope garcia will get it on with Crawford and then move up to what is an already talent packed 147 div...however if they both move up itl leave the 140 pretty sparce of talent....
hopefully a rematch with amir at some point, which is something I have wanted as khan fan... hopefully garcia will lose a bit of his power in the move up. ..

It doesn't matter to these people that Danny has been in the ring with the likes of Khan, Matthysse, Huerra, Judah, and Peterson upcoming. They're impressed with Crawford dominating C-level fighters. Danny is on his way to 147 anyway so this fight never happens at 140.

Danny has already left 140 while Crawford is just now entering it. This fight won't happen at 140.

Based on what we KNOW, Garcia by late KO.

Based on what we're made to feel about the future, Crawford by decision.

DG isn't as special a fighter as people made him out to be initially, he got exposed in PR and Crawford will complete the task by exposing the rest and winning comfortably.

What do we know that suggests that Crawford would be knocked out?

Danny is a special fighter, based on what you seen in the Herrera fight means nothing,Danny didn't get exposed he just wasn't on his A game. Before that fight Danny schooled Matthysse even drop him & hurted Judah plenty times, even retired Erik Morales.

I strongly disagree if you mean Gamboa. I thought Crawford was rocked only once in their bout and to me it didn't seem like he was in serious trouble, which may be why won by stoppage very shortly after. Garcia is certainly more proven and I think he'd have a solid chance of winning, but considering that he only has three stoppages in his last nine fights and that those were against a significantly undersized opponent who had no business fighting at that level, a gifted but notoriously chinny fighter who you malign regularly, and someone who was well over the hill, I wouldn't say the evidence suggests that Garcia would stop a fighter who has displayed the abilities that Crawford has.

Yea Garcia is a more proven fighter,Crawford haven't been in the ring with anyone that could hurt him yet,the lightweight division isn't competitive.

Did I mention Crawford beat Garcia in the amateurs?

According to Lara, since he beat Andrade 8 yrs ago in the amateurs he isn't worth his time now. "Already beat that ass".Why bother fighting again? :OhYes:

Please the amateurs are only 4 round fights, this is professional boxing not the amateurs.Danny is WBC Champ & faced way better competition than Terence Crawford.Your not proving a point.

If this fight gets made I will be cheering for Crawford to knock out Garcia. I would get immense pleasure from seeing him get sparked straight out. Danny and his father deserve some humble pie.
