What was the purpose of this bout? It was a farce.

Petranyi shouldn't go anywhere near a boxing ring. Against a past-his-prime old man,a terrified Petranyi was on his bicycle the instant the bell rang.
Except for the payday, why does he bother getting in a ring? He had no intention of trying, and was looking for a soft place to fall from the beginning.

No wonder Briggs only smiled when he was docked a point. He knew the scorecards were going to be very unneccesary.

A travesty that once again puts boxing on the level of the WWE.

If Briggs wants to play the tough man, he should get in with Szpilka or Solis.

At least in his last two bum of the month runs that led to title shots, he was fighting decent journeyman like King and Calloway. Now he's reduced to fighting a 48 year old light heavyweight? That's pathetic . . .

Jones would knock Briggs out and Shannon knows it. No way that fight happens.

Why did they go to the expense of dragging Petranyi all the way from Hungary, surely they could have found an equally feeble opponent in Panama?
