why?
they have the fantasy in their mind, that fame is equatable to quality.
what i mean by this, is that the more famous boxers has to be better than the less famous boxer, cause fame=quality.
that is one of the dumbest statemants or mindset you can have, because it so many times have been proven wrong and
it puts delusions in boxer's heads. best example at the moment is amir khan, he realy thinks he is better than brook, not for the fact of
his ability, but for the fact, that he has beating better opponents.
fans are part of that problem, would they just see the pure skill, they would push more for better fights happening and those fights happening,
because of pure quality of a boxer and what he has done 10 years ago. because in terms of the stupid mindset of fame, brook against khan should not
be made, because khan is well mroe famous, but in terms of skill, you have a athletic fighter, a strong welterweight, with solid power against a blown up welterweight,
with great speed, gift decsision and 0,0 chin. so ability wise, they are pretty much even, even so brook > khan for me, but it is not like brook is much much better,
but sure as hell the fight is obvious to be made.
Boxing fans are part of the problem!!!

Re: Boxing fans are part of the problem!!!
The various boxing organisations have been performing a snow job on unsuspecting boxing fans for decades. They portray fighters as champions to the world by gifting them worthless belts before they've even had to fight a competitive opponent. We are literally surrounded by undefeated ''champions" who have beaten nobody.
There's a sucker born every minute. That's what Barham & Bailey used to say years ago and it still applies now as it did then.
