Royal Albert Hall
Royal Albert Hall
Didn't it get granted a license to hold boxing about a year ago? Was expecting lots of bouts (or at least a few) but basically nothing has been hosted there - any reason why? IIRC Bruno used to fight a lot there and it looks a cracking venue for boxing...
Re: Royal Albert Hall
Though the same a couple of months back what is the point of getting the license if they arent going to use it?
Re: Royal Albert Hall
Saunders fought there in 2012, then nothing since, might be expensive to book.

Yeh, I went when it was on there.
Bug was on and I saw some young kid from Luton, he looked a real talent, think he schooled Dean Bryne (forgive my memory) but I've n I've never seen him since then. Was a real pup at the time. With Graham Earl I think.

Terry Holmes, no idea where he's disappeared to, can't find anything on him.DavidPayne wrote:Yeh, I went when it was on there.

Last article I found says now trained by Spencer Oliver.
Re: Royal Albert Hall
Might be down to ticket sales, not often a kid with 5 fights takes on a fighter like Byrne and there isn't many shows around him, if he's only got a small fanbase at home selling enough tickets down in London will be difficult.DavidPayne wrote:Last article I found says now trained by Spencer Oliver.
