Anthony Joshua - The journey Doc

Post by dbf »

Very dissapointed with this. Watched till the end then realised it was produced by Matchroom so makes sense. If its on ITV get Gabriel Clarke to do it and do it properly. He would have made something worthy and much better than this dross and the one sky did a while back.

The only thing I learnt from this was that joshua had actually tried boxing when he was 14 before going back to it when he was 18 (always previously reported he first stepped into a gym in 2008).

Understand this is to appeal to the mainstream audience and is a good move by matchroom to get he wider exposure but seriously a poor effort if you ask me. Its 2015 but this could have been made 10 years ago.

There's a reason they palmed it off on ITV4 at 10pm. Dead air space.

Can't really do a documentary on his journey when he hasn't been on one yet, make one when he's won something as a pro. Same goes for Campbell.
