I simply can't watch it any more. I can't stand Johnny acting the clown and I find the way they hype up Matchroom fights tedious. Ed Robinson is the only shining light on the show. All in SKY are doing a great job of alienating the hardcore knowledgeable fans.

3? Guessing it got too much and you stopped watching. It got worse. Although I thought Paddy Considine seemed very knowledgable it was pathetic from Sky.

When lethal bizzle said he liked wrestling, it was quite childish and patronising of johnny nelson to say "you know it's fake, don't you."

It was similar on the premier league darts last night.

After every match Dave darts was asking them who they thinks gonna win pac-mayweather fight. Cringeworthy. Trying to promote it anyway they can.

I had it recorded, but later read the programme summary on the Sky planner & deleted it without bothering to watch. Sounds like I did the right thing.

Although I was kind of interested in what the Big Show had to say, especially after suffering a brutal KO at the hands of Mayweather at WrestleMania :OhYes:

Lethal Bizzle getting invited because he'd once been to a Floyd fight takes the biscuit for me. I'd never heard of him.

Exactly! In all fairness I like Paddy Considine big fan of lots of his work and he is actually a big boxing fan (often talking boxing on twitter) but its like having Carl Froch doing film reviews (please nobody mention this to Eddie it'll happen)

Oh dear. Ringside used to be a good show. Also remember the classic fights show Sky used to do many years ago? And also knockouts of the year and fights of the year?

Those were the days.

I like Adam he generally seems passionate about his boxing and comes across as knowledgeable. ..

But yeah for one of the biggest fight rather disappointed in the guests Apart from paddy C (who seems like a big fan and I thought came cross well out of the guests) would have better to have had Murray, Ronnie and paddy in the studio imo

Ringside has been crap for ages - boxing matters on BN is far better. however sky are just trying to rope in As many people as
Possible to buy the PPV. they don't need to worry about hardcores/forum users buying it as we will without any complaint but I guess by having people like lethal B (he's an MC/rapper/entrepreneur if ppl Aren't aware) that may further entice his kind of following to buy the fight.

That's true. And I bet Johnny wouldn't dare say that face to face with Brock Lesnar.

There's been a gradual shift in their programming away from the nerdy anorak "insider" type appeal to a broader "everyman" approach.

I don't think they're really that bothered about alienating a few people on a forum.

Do you really think its just a nerdy insider type they are alienating though? No chance I've got mates who are by no means that (they watch probably a card every month or so) and they thought it was stupid.

In fact the only people they aren't alienating is the idiot towie/darts types for whom Mayweather/Pacquiao will be the first fight theyve watched since Froch/Groves
