Which divisions will unify

Post by marvelous marv »

Which of boxings 17 divisions is most likely to see a unification bout next? Fighting the WBA "regular" champ when there is a super champ does not qualify as unification for the purposes of this post.

I can see Klitschko vs Wilder early next year.
If both are still champ.

I think you would see unification at Heavy if Fury beats Klitschko as well.

Talk of Miura (WBC) unifying with either Uchiyama (WBA) or Martinez (WBO) @130
Talk of Takayama (IBF) unifying with WBA (Budler) or WBO (If Tanaka wins on May 30th) @ 105

I feel like the featherweight division is headed toward a unification fight at 126
