Well organised show - Greenock

I must compliment all involved in the first pro show in Greenock in around 50 years. The town hall venue was one of the most ornate in the country and an ideal size. The stewarding was first class, the large crowd well behaved and knowledgeable and the there was ample parking nearby. Great to see pro boxing returning to local venues. The boxing was good too, local boys Ball and Quigley looked decent with John Simpson appearing eager.

this is whats needed , local boys showcased in there home towns to get them built up and ultimatly get a shot on one of the big shows down south , hopefully these shows continue and Paisley ones also as with the right fighters from local area on them they will sell well.

good to see a positive thread abotu a show in scotland and not the usual doom and gloom pish you see... sounds like the show went well, good to see some new ground being broken through ...

I hope this was the first of many. I know the Paisley ones are a bit of a hit n miss but it sounds as if this went well. Another show this weekend at Belahouston. Been to a couple there and they are usually decent so hope there is a good turn out.
