Khan - Peterson 2?

Post by klitoris »

Why is there no talk of the possibility of this fight. Peterson is moving up to 147 and one of Khan's losses is against Peterson.
It would be a make sense fight for Amir since he can avenge that 2011 controversy.
Peterson would get another shot at a big time fight after that robbery in the Garcia fight. Plus the fight probably sells good in Vegas.
The rematch was suppose to happen years ago.
Both guys are with Haymon. Why not?

Khan knows he is not as good as he says he is.He is cherry picking and will fall to
another contender as soon as he steps up again.
This is one loud mouthed jerk that I wish would go away.

1. khan would win boring and easy.
2. avenging losses doesn't seem popular anymore.

I'd usually favor Khan, but the one from the Algieri fight wouldn't have no easy win with the Peterson from the Garcia one.

I would love to see Khan/Peterson 2. Absolutely. If the Floyd fight doesn't happen and then they can't make the Brook fight, why not? Peterson gained a lot pub in his loss to Garcia a couple of months ago. I hope he learned that he gave that fight away with the early dancing. He put a serious beating on Garcia in the latter rounds of that fight. Garcia seems to be a shell of his former self.

Let's do it, i'll watch that.

Khan vs Peterson would be a great fight. The fact that Peterson has not fought at 147 would be an advantage Khan would like. In Khan's mind, if he thinks he is bigger he has an advantage. Collazo is the only big welter he has fought, and he had been shot for 4 years. Peterson did get caught with a doctor prescribed low dose testosterone in his system. His fault as well as his doctors.

Khan should have been disqualified in my opinion, not listening to the ref and repeatedly fouling. He couldn't keep Peterson off him, which is why he won't fight him again, I am betting.

Peterson beat Garcia in my opinion, even though he "ran" the first few rounds. He lost to Matthysse, but at least he has the balls to fight him, which Khan doesn't have.

I would guess Khan would take on Garcia before Peterson. That is a much more winnable fight, unless he gets caught and does the chicken dance, which is always a possibility.
