Re: Please bring back the old boxrec setup
I'm all for change if it's a good thing. The new format I think will be OK once everyone gets used to it. However, one thing I miss is the 'open book'. It readily made you aware that there was a notation, a story, a fact, a pic about that particular fight. Now you have to pick at each one blindly. I miss the heads-up. It would be great if that feature could be restored.

Thank you for your comments. We're listening to the numerous comments we have received and are working at keeping the new improved features as they are while moving the look of it more towards the our former UI. The open/ closed book is included in that. We're hoping to get something testing early next week. Any volunteers for testing?
Re: Please bring back the old boxrec setup
I mostly like the new layout, it was a bit of a shock that boxrec suddenly looked so different after all these years but I think it's good. I particularly like the new layout for the boxer homepage, with photo and fight record together it all looks a bit cleaner.
I am finding the fighter search function to be a tad unreliable, I have typed in names a few times since the relaunch only to get a nil return so I had to go to google and search from there just to retrieve the record I wanted...
Just to add that I was not searching obscure fighters, I recall that one was Michael Sprott...

Showing support for the old format, or at least re-incorporating elements into the new look.
Being able to see scorecards, notes on KDs or if it was a cut stoppage all on one page for all bouts was tremendous. Now? Not so much.
