That is awful harsh.. but like most criticisms, there is usually at least a small element of truth to it. Ward is a great fighter, but I doubt he is eager to face Kovalev doubt anyone is eager to face that monster.
GGG is the hottest name in boxing. Wards in a tough spot. He moves to 175 now, you can write off a fight with GGG. At 175 u have Kovalev...maybe Beterbiev. Thats it. No money at all. 168 u have Degale...Groves.... possibly Chavez. Not as good of fighters but they bring cash.
I just think it's funny that this punk, Ward, fights one fight in 2 years against a fish names Paul Smith and now he's hitting the media calling people out like he's the A side. The fight on BET with Smith grabbed less than 1% share and he thinks he's got hand? Screw Ward. Earn your way back to the conversation, idiot. No one has been poking for your return, Zero. Gods son, yeah so am I and everyone of us idiots typing opinions on this message board. screw.
Ward has four wins over former world champions, but all are tainted:
Kessler (in Ward's home town, used illegal & deliberate head butts to defeat)
Froch (Ward had home country advantage again)
Abraham (In California and once again, he used illegal tactics)
Dawson (in Ward's home town, Chad's weight-drained corpse)
Kovalev also has four, but without illegal tactics and home advantages:
Campillo (neutral ref)
Cleverly (in Nathan's home town)
Hopkins (near Hopkins home city)
Pascal (in Pascal's home town)
People love to hate the best. The dude was on the shelf for a couple yrs because of a lawsuit and somehow people like to spin it that he doesnt wanna fight anyone good when he already has.
When you're as good as he is you are dissected under a different light - especially from outsiders that want to see you fail because of where you're from. It comes with the territory.

safety shield from the likes of BOTH Kovalev & Adonis it's too funny Ward doesnt want any business and LHW he cleaned out 168lb freaking
almost 3yrs ago!!!!! But at the same time secretely GGG is uttering "Move Up You Little B*tch! That's Right Move Up You B*tch! Get off My Back!"

He is on the money here. He is all over the truth. At 175 Ward does not beat Kovalev or Beterbiev. GGG is a middleweight and not even a huge one at that. So let GGG fight at middle and if Ward wants to fight at middle GGG would gladly KO his ass. Ward is creating a distraction because he wants nothing to do with The Eastern Euro's at 175. I can't blame him actually. The Eastern Euro's have done a great job of cleaning out all the inner city gyms in the States one by one. Ward better stick to guys like Paul Smith and Wilder better stick to guys like Eric Molina. Because when they finlly fight the Eastern Euro every American knows what is gonna happen. POOF! Up in smoke!

Literally one of the most bias pieces of drivel the CS has produced.. no suprise whatsoever where it came from

Another moron. Tell us more about your anti American bias. You idiot.
While some of the criticism of SOGgy is over the top, he needs to get off his a$$ and get to work. The criticism of him not traveling is accurate. The criticism of his sense of entitlement is earned. The fact that his poor decision making led to his being shelved is his own responsibility. The fact that he has a deranged sense of his own popularity is comical.
Ward needs to go on a bum of the month world tour until a decent challenge presents itself. It is pathetic to witness his vanity. The Super Six Championship is going on four years ago. Nobody owes SOGgy a thing. Dude should not be in the top 20 p4p based on his activity.

I agree with this. There's no one else still drawing top rankings for things he did in 2011 and 2012.

To suggest Ward is 'scared' of someone is absolute nonsense. He ain't avoiding anyone, he's just trying to get a big fight. I can't see Degale or Groves fighting Ward until after their rematch. If I was Ward, I wouldn't want to move up to 175 for a couple of fights and then move back down to 168 and I can't see GGG moving from 160 to 175. I think Ward will move up and when he does he'll beat Kovolev with ease.
I don't like Ward's style. And yes, I want to see him lose. But he seems like a good guy out of the ring. I think he does well in interviews (the ones I've seen). I like the guy.

You have no clue whatsoever. You should stop with the binge drinking as it's ruining your brain.
I don't see how anyone could have an easy time with Kovalev.. especially how seems to be refining his technique and expanding his game each time out.. The Pascal fight he didn't have the greatest camp and still took care of business, this guy is legit. I'm a huge fan of Ward, he will have a very hard night against Kovalev, a very painful night win or lose.
