"Vicious" Victor Ortiz, whose career has somewhat floundered in recent years after once holding a piece of the welterweight title, was arrested last week in Pasadena, CA on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
It seems Ortiz and his brother were at a Kenny Chesney concert at the Rose Bowl (never figured Ortiz to be a country fan) when the pair got into some sort of verbal altercation with a fellow concert-goer.
Allegedly Victor's brother punched the man, knocking him down to the ground. Victor then finished off the melee by kicking the man in the head.
The brothers reportedly tried to flee the stadium but were snared by security.
Ortiz, who hasn't fought since being KO'd by Luis Collazo early this year, is now free on $30,000 bail.
It sounds like the ex-champ is taking behavior lessons from one-time fellow Oxnard resident Fernando Vargas.
