Khan vs Garcia II who wins?

Post by CrazyHorse »

Garcia's pops stated they will never face Khan because Khan would never have given Danny a rematch if Amir won. Now Floyd just stated that if Khan wants a shot, he has to get by Garcia. Now does Garcia take the Khan fight thinking it will lead to the Mayweather fight?

Who will win the rematch if they fight this fall? :box:

Would love to see this rematch. Edge to Danny but this would be super exciting.

I believe Floyd said Khan would have gotten the shot if he had avenged his KO loss to Garcia. I think it was a combination of his mouth and struggling with Algieri.

Khan (and i was one of the few who picked Garcia to ko Khan the first time). I think Garcia is too slow and predictable while Khan has maintained his speed at a higher weight class. Would love to see a rematch.

if algieri can land on khan, so can garcia. khan made the mistake of underrating garcias punching ability once before, and hes not been near a puncher ever since. garcia wins again, much better allround fighter, with a better record, coming into his prime.

I can see Khan winning the rematch on points.

Garcia seems to have become one dimensional and stale

na sweetscience, its just that for me khans career represents everything thats wrong with boxing these days.

paper titles, not fighting the best out there cherry picking, creating a brand , the warren route to world titles etc. it was clear early on in khans career that he was wreckless, had a poor defence/weak chin, yet they persisted because they thought they could make money by capitalising on his olympic silver, feeding him a diet of journeymen, featherweights, and pensioners. he avoided all the decent british lightweights, especially the ones who could punch, but mouthed off about being the best. his whole career has been built on that foundation, where he called the shots against the weakest opposition they could get away with. he is trying to do it again ,,,saying hes a credible opponent for mayweather when he wont fight anyone in the division who is remotely dangerous.
i believe that you should have to fight all types of opponent, but especially the tough ones , to prove your worthyness and earn a shot.khan has been about for years but never went near the best in any of his divisions. yet again he saying that a fighter who would ko him is not worthy. if prescott and garcia can pit him to sleep, what is kell brook gonna do to him?

i believe that there are a number of khan publicists on these boards and elsewhere, trying to drum up business for themselves by consistently feeding the punters misinformation about khans abilites , a bit like oil companies promoting institutions that deny climate change. money is the name of khans game, and thats his business , but i beleive that he should have to work a lot harder to get it, and that means fighting someone who can hit back.
just doing my bit to try and hold back the tide.

Worse result than before and it would happen sooner in an even more devastating fashion than before, keep in mind Khan has proven he's a bitch who runs from a feather-fisted LW and we all know that DG hits much harder than Algieiri, I'm just not sure what people ever saw in Khan.

Remember all the garbage threads here about how much Amir has improved, lol......please, that only showed me who really knows what about boxing here.

Khan still gets hit with the same stuff that Garcia knocked him out with. Even Algieri had him wobbled more than one. Khan looked lost and confused at times.
Imo, its a waste of time rematching him with Garcia. If you can't last 4 rounds you don't deserve a rematch. Red should have waved off the fight the first time he got up. He staggered back, didn't respond properly.

I think the smart money would be with Garcia KO/TKO. Khan does have the ability to win a decision but how his chin has looked in his last few fights and with Garcia being a smart good power puncher, he has a good chance of stopping him again. Thats what makes this fight so intriguing. I still remember watching the first fight and thinking Khan was going to run all over this guy. I thought Garcia was on the same level as guys like Pablo Cesar Cano, Jesus Soto Karass ect.

I was impressed with Garcia. But man I've never seen a fighter look so ordinary at times but just keeps WINNING.

See Khan/Garcia I ...

I think Garcia has improved more since their first fight.
He also has the bad habit of fighting to his opponent's level.
But he ices Khan again.
Possibly with the exact same punch, in the exact same way.

What I've noticed here that the people who hate Floyd always pick Khan just so they could have a justification on why they think he deserves a shot, personally I see nothing in Amir that tells me he even comes halfway close to beating Garcia in a rematch. All I see is another KO, Amir hasn't improved anything as they all like the claim he has but I just don't see it.

I take that back, he has improved in his ability to run around the ring, he ran from Collazo, ran from featherfisted Algieiri. Khan is straight garbage.

Its funny to hear Khan say Garcia won't fight him, but Garcia said in an interview recently he would, no problem. Khahs nose gets longer very time he speaks.

The Garcia comment is spot on.
He has looked a average fighter in some of his recent fights but he keeps WINNING.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's just one of those fighters that fights at his opponents level rather than his own.
