I predict 1.1 to 1.4 Million Buys with the PPV costing 59.95$, it will be HUGE for sure.

Hopefully the winner takes on GGG in May.

Definitely one of the best matches to be made. I'm looking forward to this one.

Well we expected this, it was really a question of venue.
I'll be in Vegas that weekend so lets see if ticket prices are reasonable and the undercard worthy of a good main event.
If not hopefully Huck v Jones Jr in Germany in December if they manage to pull that off as a back up.

I'm going for Cotto, a whole lot of experience, and the better technical boxer.

I don't think Canelo is going to be able to just overwhelm him, and I think Cotto has the better overall skillset. Cotto is tough, and he is a fighter through and through.

I also think the same thing but ...
Canelo is a proper hitter and as likely as it is that Cotto can pull off the slick stuff what happens when they get into bandit country [Rounds 9-12].
Also it may be worth thinking about exactly who has a better chin here, Cotto is seasoned no doubt but I've rarely seen Canelo so much as shaken by a punch.
Finally if either of them will come in bigger after the weigh in it sure isn't going to be Cotto.

Check out cotto's lil brother when he fought Canelo, lil Cotto was rocking him. Maybe the weight had a small affect that night but he was reeling

Oddsmakers

Ginger -240
Cotto +180

I'm thinking they have almost identical styles. So no telling how this fight turns out. I'd favor Ginger, being the younger fighter.

I can see Canelo winning this.

I haven't bought into the new Cotto.

He beat a fighter with no knees and a fighter completely weight drained.

Ricardo Mayorga on who will win the fight

Ricardo Mayorga - "Miguel Cotto"

Interviewer - "why?"

Ricardo Mayorga - "Because he hits harder. I lost confidence in Saul Canelo Alvarez he behaved like a coward against Mayweather he was suppose to be willing to die that day if he didn't do it for Mayweather then he won't for Cotto"

Damn....

It was a while ago now, but I'm sure I remember Canelo getting shaken momentarily by Cotto's brother or cousin, can't remember exactly what relation. Not saying that will have any bearing on this fight of course, Canelo clearly has an excellent chin.
