Dmitry Mikhaylenko destroyed Johan Perez! Was his knockout victory impressive?
This guy put a beating on Perez, every round they fought,it also seems strange Mikhaylenko, appear to punch hard, for somebody with only 9 knockouts,I heard his shots through out my tv screen.I mean he put a serious whipping on Perez, could Dmitry Mikhaylenko be a next big star at 147?

Mikhaylenko looked very good in the fight. Perez is young and durable, he'd never been down in his career.
Dmitry isn't feather-fisted, although he doesn't have devastating one-punch KO power either. He gradually broke Perez down with an accumulation of strong punches.
I believe he will be a contender at 147.

He looked solid and I think the fight could've been stopped more quickly given how badly he was beating up Perez near the end.
Compared to the top 25 or so guys in the division he appears to be somewhat limited skill-wise, isn't particularly difficult to hit, and doesn't seem like a big puncher, but he's shown impressive stamina, can sustain a work rate that many fighters will have trouble coping with, and puts his punches together well. I don't think he'll be a top-tier guy in a talent-filled division like 147, but I can see him fighting for a major title and beating some other good fighters.

Good performance though Perez made it somewhat easier on him by abandoning his typical movement early. As others have indicated, Dmitry looks pretty limited skill-wise and lacks pop but great stamina, good physical strength, and relentless with his attack.
