This isn't about "bitching out." This is about both teams being aware that the biggest ppv in history should be postponed and choosing to disregard the best interests of the sport and it's fans for immediate, massive gain.

This has nothing to do with b or c level competition choosing not to reveal an injury to the public and / or the competition.

If everyone is telling the truth both teams knew well in advance about the injury and both teams chose to withhold the information from potential ppv buyers and legal gambling interests.

Collusion or not, substantial damages occurred. If collusion was involved, they deserve to all be sued for every penny they made PLUS gambling damages.

You can't draw a legal line between A, B and C level fighters. If there is a precedent, people can start suing anybody for anything like not disclosing a flu experienced two weeks before a fight.

People can sue for anything they choose to sue for right now. What generally decides whether someone sues or not is the alleged damages incurred. Damages in the vast, overwhelming % of cases would not be considered worth the trouble.

In this case, there is clear evidence based on both team's statements that they were all aware of a serious injury well before the event rendering it a sparring exhibition and a foregone conclusion. We are talking about the biggest ppv in history here, not SOGgy v Smith.

There are massive potential damages related to The Farce. I find it amusing that people would defend this absolute corruption if true, yet whine about decisions and proliferation of belts, etc.

If true, every person who bought the ppv and / or placed a legal wager has a claim of damages. We are talking well over half a billion $$$ conservatively estimated.

This was not an obscure battle between b or c fighters for an alphabelt. This was the biggest ppv in history.

Either Manny was seriously injured and both teams were aware of it or one or both sides are lying.

Either way, the biggest ppv in history should be coined The Farce.

This has NEVER happened before based just on the magnitude of the event.

The lawsuit won't get very far. The story coming from the TR camp is that it was giving Pac some trouble in the build up but was nothing major and was aggrevated to a tear during the fight. I can't see how that story can be disproven.

Yeah I really doubt anything will come from this.

I doubt there is any way to prove who knew or didn't know, what the extent of any injuries were, or what intent there was. Burden of proof exists, and it will shut this case down IMO.

We will see. Top Stank has every reason to bury this. How accurate were the reports that Team Planquiao sent the sparring partners home weeks early? If true and Team Junior's molay had them completely informed it would explain the hug fest put on in the guise of a fight.

I agree with the non-Tanzios in this thread. Suing a fighter for boxing with some degree of wear and tear is ridiculous. A large majority of fighters enter a fight with some degree of injury and exit the fight with some amount of excuses. There should be no precedent for suing any of these individuals. It is a normal part of the sport, and if every fight were postpone due to a boo boo, then we would only get a few boxing matches in a given year.

Team Pac claimed they know that Team FMJ was aware of Manny's injury. Team FMJ claimed prior to the fight they knew everything that was going on in the camp.

Again, this is not any fight. This is the biggest ppv in the history of the sport. It was more of a waltz than a fight.

If the injury was not serious why did Pac bring it up at all? Why did he accuse FMJ of Foreknowledge? Why did team FMJ claim they knew everything going on in Pac's camp?

Pac didn't disclose the injury to the NAC. THAT is why they couldn't get the shot, and why the lawsuits are there. It makes no difference if They told USADA weeks earlier. Roach even said he was fine going into the fight. They can't touch Floyd on this one. Pacquiao's stupidity will cost him.

Yes, I know, but there is nothing illegal about fighting with an injury. We've seen it literally thousands upon thousands of times in boxings history.

Pull that empty gourde out your ass and attempt to assemble a coherent thought (and back away slowly from the caps lock key).

This is nothing like a fighter coming in out of shape. It has nothing to do with the fighter choosing to fight with an injury. It has to do with consciously concealing information from consumers and those participating in legal gambling.

Pac failed to report the torn shoulder cuff injury on the Nevada Athletic Commission Medical Questionnaire. He then attempted to get localized pain medication for the injury that he failed to report. He then complained after the farce that FMJ was forewarned of the injury and took advantage of it.

The rotator cuff injury allegedly happened about a month prior to the fight. Team FMJ claimed they had intelligence about everything going on in Pac's camp.

Winks, nods and kisses at the final presser. A waltz breaks out at the scene of the fight.

There is ample reason to suspect collusion to conceal information. Why do so many of you have a problem with this? What if the only thing to come out of it was an injury report the week of the fight?

Every other professional sport has these reports. What the fvck is wrong with you people? What makes sense about the public not being informed in a situation where they are gambling legally or paying dearly for a ppv or a seat?

What a flock of sheep.

You may replace that empty gourde neck deep now.

I don't have a problem with it at all.

I'd love to see some of the crooks in boxing get taken to task.

I just think there will be an extremely hard time proving any sort of collusion.

It has nothing to do with him fighting injured. It has everything to do with the information being concealed from the public robbing people of the ability to make an informed decision on whether or not to purchase the fight and whether or not and how to place their legal bets.

The lovechild of a turnip and a cornhusk asked me "why would Manny agree to fix (the fight) if he knew he could beat Floyd?"

Pretty simple, turB, he was injured. He knew he was not 100%. He knew he could not defeat FMJ with a torn rotator cuff. FMJ was aware that Pac was hurt. He knew Pac could not defeat him injured. They collude to conceal the injury so the fight not only is not postponed but people buy it and bet on it based on both fighters being healthy. FMJ agrees not to fvck his wounded opponent up. They decide to rationalize a rematch based on the injury, after The Farce.
The Farce II is fed to the flock of sheep.

If you want a poll so you can see how big the flock is, create it yourself turB.

Yes, this action will fail. It's all just a load of hot air. Fighters come into the ring with niggling injuries all the time.
