Looks as though Brad will be turning up the heat in the mainstream media. Doubt Green takes up this challenge as it doesn't get him closer to his ''end game'' of a fight with a certain LMW.

Yes but you can't blame Pitt for trying. Pitt is closer to Green's size than Anthony Mundine and considers himself a 2x Cruiserweight world champion.Like a Boss wrote:Fighting Brad Pitt would offer Green nothing.
Since David Aloua knocked Brad out he seems to have been undecided about whether he even wanted to continue in the fight game.
Pitt is not only much bigger than Green. He has also only boxed 14 rounds in the past 3 years and 9 of those were on the same night in a 4 round Super 8 tournament. So he couldn't possibly have a meaningful rating due to his inactivity.
Green would be far better off fighting another import who is closer to his own size and would pull a bigger crowd as well.
Green offers Mundine the biggest money fight out there. Pitt offers Green virtually nothing. Do you not see that?DA GOOSE wrote:Yes but you can't blame Pitt for trying. You already said that. Any particular reason you posted exactly the same thing again?DA GOOSE wrote:DA GOOSE wrote:Yes but you can't blame Pitt for trying. Says the guy who thinks Hopkins chickened out of a Green fight and Mayweather was going to fight Daniel Geale.buster007 wrote:u see this guy has zero idea of how boxing works.
none whatsoever, lol.
Boxing for Mundine has always been about the money. First and foremost. That's why he spent his prime fighting comparatively mediocre opposition. Knowing he could still make excellent money and to hell with legacy.DA GOOSE wrote:Like a boss,I edited the post hence the double post. Anyway don't think Mundine will give Green another fight due to his fake offer to Aboriginal charities back in 2010 on ANZAC day. But you may be right if he needs the money.
Why do you say thatFrancis75 wrote:Yes Grinning Greeny is yellow. I hate that colour.
Are for real Green offers what to Mundine ...............Mundine gets challenged by every man and his dog because guess what they all get the BIGGEST payday of their life this is why Green keeps challenging the jr middleweight he knows every one in the know is laughing because cruiserweights or men that weigh 85kg's don't challenge men 69kg's[what a joke I thought this was boxing not open slather] look out MayweatherLike a Boss wrote:Green offers Mundine the biggest money fight out there. What I'm disputing is Mundine doesn't need to fight a cruiserweight do you know why we have weight classe's in this game no you'll ignore that and keep talking this fight up any other country in the world you would get run out of town for the same sh.tLike a Boss wrote:When Mundine and Green fought the first time it was the biggest money fight in the history of Australian boxing. Have you forgotten that already??
Green is still the biggest money fight out there for Mundine. Surely you are not disputing that?
If you are question it, name a fight Mundine can actually get that would pay better than a Green fight would?
IMO he only isn't saying no because he is laughing at how desperate Danny is. They are even making fun of Danny on you-tube. Mundine is fighting at 154 and ranked top 10 in 3 out of 4 of the major sanctioning bodies. Besides money(which he probably already has plenty of)why would he bulk up to a weight he never fought at to fight a guy he doesn't like and has already flogged before?Like a Boss wrote:Mundine wouldn't be fighting a cruiserweight if they met again and Green wouldn't be fighting a junior middleweight. In 12 or 18 months when a rematch could take place they would naturally be much closer in weight.
Mundine isn't saying no to the possibility of a rematch. It would be easy enough for him to do that. But no, he is instead suggesting Green lose some weight and first fight Blake Caparello or Sakio Bika. That isn't a no by any means![]()
If you are completely discounting the possibility of a rematch of the biggest money fight in the history of Australian boxing you are underestimating the power of money in professional boxing.
Which he probably has plenty of why would he bulk up to a weight he has never fought at to give a guy he hates a pay day?Like a Boss wrote:"Besides money".
BESIDES MONEY! Did I read that correctly?
This is professional boxing. There is very little to it besides money.
You are missing the point entirely. For Mundine it is all about the money. Always has been. Even in his football days. Remember when he wanted to leave his club and they asked him which club he would go to? He simply answered: Whoever pays me the most money.DA GOOSE wrote:Which he probably has plenty of why would he bulk up to a weight he has never fought at to give a guy he hates a pay day?Like a Boss wrote:"Besides money".

At present it is looking like nothing more than just a robust discussion. But that could soon change of course.buster007 wrote:I must say the hate riddled rant of the above two is very funny.
if they say those things enough they might just believe it to be true, lol.
