Cesar Rene Cuenca vs Lucas Mathysse
An all Argentina Unification fight between those two (If Mathysse beats Postol) , Who do you think wins? Yea I know Cuenca is less proven but something tells me he fairly outboxes Mathysse for a close UD.
His style is so awkward and he is a southpaw, he could give Lucas HUGE problems.

Re: Cesar Rene Cuenca vs Lucas Mathysse
Mathysse struggled with Molina BIG time and you are telling me that Cuenca would be a joke of a fight? We all know Cuenca easily dominates Molina (Yea styles make fights I know) but it would in no way be a joke of a fight.CrazyHorse wrote:Man get real, Cuena would pose no problens for Lucas. Who is Cuencas best win? His resume is a joke. When he can get some good quality wins under his belt i will believe in him but from what ive watched he is good but wont beat any top 140 fighter. The last guy he fought was 19 -0 but is ranked like 46th on boxrec for the division, dont be ridiculous

Claudio Alfredo Olmedo was Top 15 when they fought. He easily dominated him and that was back in 2012.CrazyHorse wrote:Who is Cuencas best win? His resume is a joke. Ok thats what you think, and thats what many other people might also think, your opinion. I wont say anything else, I know Cuenca is very good and he will prove that by beating No.13 ranked Undefeated Eduard Troyanovsky.
I might also be wrong ofc, but we will see.

Obv he is very good, he ran his record up to wat 48-0 or somrthing, Just not world class level. Why u think he never stepped up into the big leagues. Cesar is losing his next fight no doubt.

We will see. You have to give credit to the guy, His first defense against an undefeated contender and on his opponent's territory.. Any other boxer would have made soft defenses to rise above 50-0.CrazyHorse wrote:Obv he is very good, he ran his record up to wat 48-0 or somrthing, Just not world class level. If he losses , it will be by via Robery.. im 90% sure.

Re: Cesar Rene Cuenca vs Lucas Mathysse
Lol come on man. Stop trying to make his last fight out to be an awesome defence of his title. The guy is ranked in the 40-50 on boxrec for crying out loud. Lucas routinely fights top ranked fighters and doesn't duck or dodge anyone. And don't try to compare your boys resume to Floyd Mayweather's. Floyd use to always get criticized for a weak resume but is really solid atm. I bet you also think souza bezerra ko's a Glowaki or Drozd?Aaronide_ger wrote:We will see. First of all cuenca is ranked No.9 By boxrec get your facts straight, No.40-50 SMH.
What the F#ck are you talking about? I tried to be nice with you but its the irony I cant stand. I just stated an opinion and u go on to talk About Floyd? WTF is wrong with you. Not going to reply after this, You obviously went out of the picture.

Some of these threads are just plain ridiculous.

I like the look of Cuenca. I reckon Cuenca by decision.
He seems to have a decent chin, if he can stand Matthysse power then he can outbox him.

@CrazyHorse You must be joking, Look closely at what you said.
"Lol come on man. Stop trying to make his last fight out to be an awesome defence of his title. The guy is ranked in the 40-50 on boxrec for crying out loud."
"An awesome defense of his title" Meaning his next fight against the russian, Because that fight will be his FIRST defense, The fight against the no.40-50 fighter you speak of, was a title fight, Not a title DEFENSE. YDKSOB

Re: Cesar Rene Cuenca vs Lucas Mathysse
I've been impressed with Cuenca, the guy has ability
but someone who hits so softly will struggle to keep someone off that's as strong as Lucas.
Lucas is a world class operator and a level above anything Cuenca has faced, throw in the difference in power and i struggle to see how Cuencas skill and defensive movement will be enough to see him through 12 rounds of relentless pursuit by Matthysee

If Cuenca has a great chin, he will regret that. If not, he will be stopped.

Re: Cesar Rene Cuenca vs Lucas Mathysse
Matthyse inside 5 rounds, Cuenca's a nice tidy boxer but he isn't really world class and Matthyse will walk all over him, Cuenca has nothing to hold him off.
