Wlad knows Fury is gonna be a toughie thats why he's wanting options ...fairplay to big tyson for agreeing , he probably didn't have to as he was mandatory after all said an done

Why say fair play to Tyson for agreeing, when he clearly says "I had to agree to it for the fight"?

If Wlad requests it it would only be because he lost.
In which case Tyson would be in line for a huge pay day against a 40 year old that he has already beat.

No brainer for Tyson

Well that's exactly what he said in the article you linked to. But obviously he could have refused and let it go to purse bids where he'd have got the sharp end of an 80/20 split and no rematch clause anyway.

Yes, by agreeing to Wlad's demands they were able to avoid purse bids, which would likely have been won by Warren and the fight shown on Bnation.
By avoiding purse bids it opened up the possibility of having the fight on Sky ppv, and thus making Fury a huge wedge.

Wlad will nearly always have such an option in his fights. Vitali had two rematch clauses with Chisora didn't he? ( well, one was for a rematch the other to fight Wlad )

Yes. If Vitali was still active, then Wlad would have Fury sign up to a rematch then a fight with Vitali as well.

As far as I know, that was standard boilerplate for fighting a Klitschko when both were active. Now it's just Wlad, you get to skip past Big Bro.

Yes, yes he did. If you think Wlad was so terrified of the prospect of fighting Tyson that he suddenly pulled a rematch clause out of his arse, you are very very wrong.

As I said above, a rematch clause in Klitschko contracts is AFAIK bog-standard for every fight they have otherwise by your logic Wlad was so scared of Francesco Pianeta that he demanded a rematch clause for that fight, too.

It's a form of Insurance.
