Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
American club fighter, stopped in two rounds by Patrick Nielsen on his last and only trip to Europe. 39 years old and not in Boxrec top 100. 14th fight was a four rounder. Absolutely terrible opponent for Eubank regardless of how long he's been off.

The fight is apparently for Eubanks Interim title. Remarkably Jeter is ranked 13th by the WBA. He's never beaten anyone with any type of a pedigree. No credibility to any of this for me.

This should be a stern test for JR.

Great yardstick for Jr,beating Jeter will prove invaluable for when he faces Golovkin,we all know Eubank Jr KO's GGG in a round if they fought now but fighting a well ranked fighter in Jeter cant do no harmRexob wrote:This should be a stern test for JR.

Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Surely this confirms that the bill won't be PPV. They wouldn't dare would they?
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next

Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Terrible opponent by any standard, but for a supposed PPV this is borderline criminal.
Surely they could find someone better in the UK, why not John Ryder? That fight would have been easy to make.

In a strange way I hope it is PPV as it could be the last one you see of bills of this stature and maybe we can get back to the days when PPV'S were reserved for mega-fightsroy wrote:Surely this confirms that the bill won't be PPV. They wouldn't dare would they?
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
I see Eubank Jr has joined up with Adam Booth, needs a first fight like this with a new trainer. Booth is a great fit for him.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Providing there is no outside influence from Snr (English lol) then I think it could be a successful partnership. I can't see Booth standing for any crap tbh.sendo wrote:I see Eubank Jr has joined up with Adam Booth, needs a first fight like this with a new trainer. Booth is a great fit for him.

Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
So Eubank outclassed Chudinov, who beat Neilson who demolished this guy and he's considered a valid opponent?
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
If he signed up Eubank and had one week to find an opponent, I could partially accept it. However, he has had plenty of time to sort this out. It just isn't on. It is all well and good having some big names on a card, but who cares if they are pointless fights.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
This fight is not acceptable, I was conned in paying for the Bellew vs Cleverly farce last year. Eddie Hearn I'm not gonna let you fool me again, I'm going to stream your PPV card this month you con artist

Would've been happy with Blackwell, Ryder or even Macklin.

Eubank Jr. would beat all of them. He would be at least 1/3 in the bookies for either fight. More like 1/5 ish.
