Boxing is great for many reasons. I don't care what yinz say bout
the game, here is why boxing is taking off

1. Free boxing on TV. I'm poor and can't afford none of them PPV and cable.

2. Great young talent like Sammy Vasquez Jr., Thurman, and I like this kid Spence.

3. Don King is on the way out. Thank God.

There are a ton box office stars. After triple GGG decapitates that frog with a left hook, the whole world will know his name. Kovalev? Yinz are nuts, boxing is loaded with great talent right now. I ain't seen it this good in a long while.

Boxing has been in trouble, and had it's obituary written dozens of times. It keeps on ticking and keeps on moving forward. GGG, Canelo, Crawford...all guys with big Box Office Potential.

Box office stardom usually has very little to do with the fighter themselves, and everything to do with how they're marketed. If they market those guys right. They'll do big business in Boxing.

Lots of exciting fighters right now.

Roman Gonzalez, Kovalev, Beterbiev, Inoue, GGG, Lemieux, etc plus numerous exciting up-and-comers like Khytrov, Gvozdyk, etc.

It's the boring ones like Andre " hold, headbutt, clinch and clamp" Ward who hurt the sport. The boxing writers shouldn't be giving too much attention to guys like that while ignoring the exciting boxers.

Wlad is huge in Europe. Wilder is a pretty big name here. Thurman and Spencer are quite interesting. GGG has a lot of fans everywhere.They love Stevenson and Lemieux in Canada.

Boxing has been dying for over 100 years.

"Box office appeal" often changes with one punch, in either direction.
Pac and Floyd both had little to no box office appeal at one or more point in their respective careers.
Plus, I'd say that Canelo's current box office appeal already can't be denied, and he's still a relative baby in the sport, as far as his actual age goes.
And that's just one example- there are other current fighters that have good box office appeal too, who are bordering on stardom.
Pay better attention, maybe?

The sky definitely isn't falling on boxing, but maybe you, as the OP, should run and hide from it anyways.
