Joe Gallagher and Oliver Harrison
Showing themselves up in the build up to this fight. Anyone know what's gone on between the pair of them?

I think the lack of Ringside has really affected this fight, and will plenty more in the future. No casuals seem to know it's even on. Shame, as it's a very good match up.

Few words at the weigh in today. I wander what exactly was said?

When they took Ringside off I never thought about this but this is a good point.mickey1975 wrote:I think the lack of Ringside has really affected this fight, and will plenty more in the future. No casuals seem to know it's even on. Shame, as it's a very good match up.

Seems all a bit childish to me, saw them both having a go at the weigh in also. Like schoolkids

Thanks, Marlo - Gallagher does seem to run people up wrong, I've not seen Oliver Harrison say a bad word about anyone before.Marlo Stanfield wrote:http://www.badlefthook.com/2015/11/5/96 ... -breakdown

He is one of the very, very few rude blokes I've met in boxing. Its a shame because he has great ability as a coach.

Re: Joe Gallagher and Oliver Harrison
I've only met Joe once, in Munich when he was over with Stephen Smith and he was a gent. I had the feeling that he would have talked to me, a nobody hobby reporter, for hours if I'd had enough questions.
Funny how we can see the same person so differently.

They may be trying to take some of the pressure off their fighters.
I keep changing my mind about this one, looking forward to it

I think joe is an intelegent person who on his record has nothing to answer to .
Oliver is also the same.
ITS the boxers who make the trainers not the other way round.
I know I was that soldier.

Wasn't it Harrison who started all this saying Gallagher has been given world class fighters and wasn't a good trainer.

There seems a real edge to what Harrison is saying. He can't stand him.Lion-Heart wrote:Wasn't it Harrison who started all this saying Gallagher has been given world class fighters and wasn't a good trainer.

Townend is a big strong man at the weight and its no surprise he was stronger than Dodd. I was really impressed with Dodd v Buckland and I give him a real chance here.
Re: Joe Gallagher and Oliver Harrison
can see Feilding pulling of a underdogs win inside the distance
Re: Joe Gallagher and Oliver Harrison
I still cant make my mind up on this one.
Both seem to be good lads but neither have been tested - good fight this one hopefully.
I am not sure who I am rooting for - at first I was going for Fielding as for me the Smith brothers all seem to have this entitled smugness about them, but then I saw Fielding in Morrisons car park and he was parked in the parent and child bay - ok not exactly, John Terry but still .....

Re: Joe Gallagher and Oliver Harrison
Smith throws a nice variety of punches but I think his upright, no head-movement defence might cause him issues past British level.
Not seen that much of Fielding.

Oof. That's put me right off him. A heinous indiscretion!bripez wrote:I still cant make my mind up on this one.
