Yes it can be a nightmare, happens on a few sites that I go on with my iphone, drives you barmy.

Cant stop them they afe driving me potty, dont happen on wifi just 3 or 4g when i am out

Download Puffon Browser, then you'll have absolutely no problem (it's quite a big browser for a phone, but it works excellent) you can also watch streams and stuff like that without problems.
