Boring but worlds #1

Post by Chepppaaa »

enough of the hypocrisy. when floyd was boring as hell, there was no problem ranking him as p4p #1 for so many years. now there is a guy as good as, maybe even better than floyd, but he cannot be ranked #1, cause he is boring

the last several month showed me one clear thing.

that roman gonzales is athleticly limited. that canelo is slow and golovkin technicly limited and ward just a cheater.

the only guy right now, accept maybe loma, who has the total package: world class athletiscm, world class footwork, world class upperbody movemant, world class technic, is guillermo rigondeaux, hate him or love him, he is the best boxer in the world and easily one of the 10 best boxers ever. you may not like it, because americans tend always to think only their athletes are the best, but same as teofilo stevenson and felix savon would have gave ali and foreman hell, same rigondeaux would have given any us top boxer ever big time problems.

all the promoters are scared to put their fighter infront of rigo. where is loma, mares, frampton and cruz? they would get schooled like a b level fighter, just like prime donaire (back than p4p top 3) got schooled back than.

Gotta agree with you chepa.

Rigo would school loma rather easly imo.

Doubt Loma's ppl would hand him over to El chacal though.

We really should consider the fact Rigo just went 10 with a guy recently blown out in a round...the guy who blew out Francisco just got beat by a debutant...

Yay Rigo!

Mayweather also went life and death with Maidana in the first fight the same Maidana that got easly out boxed by Devon alexander who just got whooped by that journeyman.

Non of that matters fighters underestimate guys yet rise to the occasion with others.

I.e Kirkland v ishida gets stopped in 1 rd but then goes on to stop a then undefeated Angulo.

I will not soon forget the bloody and battered Mayweather, continuously limping forward, with both eyes swollen shut, fighting for his very life! We are fortunate to have been witness to it. Oh, the bards will sing of that night for a thousand harvest moons!

LOL...Rigo's final nail in the coffin came last night and I'm forever grateful to final say that i'll never have to sit through another one of his pathetic fights. For 10 rounds, the only excitement I got from that fight was Lamply, Roy, Max and Harold arguing about how boring Rigo was and how he doesn't belong on P4P lists.

70 punches landed in a 10 round bout against a horrible boxer in an absolute gift of a slot on a fight card being seen by a multitude of millions of people? There's no excuse for it and now it's over for this guy as no one's bidding on his fight bids now unless he gets in there with Loma or Roman. But those two guys would never agree to fight a guy this unappealing to paying fans.

Vargas and Miura knew how big the stage was last night, that's for sure. That epic battle made stars out of both men. Anyone that witnessed that fight will remember it and i guarantee, make a point to watch the rematch.

GOOD BUY RIGO, THANK GOD
