Most spectacular ring walk / entrance

Post by Ade L »

Naz & Eubank had some great OTT ones....although on the other side of the coin Tyson with no music / robe was pretty chilling

Anyone got their faves?

Always make me laugh
:TU: Never fails ...strut in like the mighty Julius Caesar in his pomp; exit like a vomit-splattered teenager outside the Kebab house.
A true classic.

Vitali had some classics. This one was especially gut: https://youtu.be/HcDRURE_oZI

:TU: Yup, that would certainly do it!
Vitali coming to the ring with bad intentions and AC/DC's Hells Bells booming out across a huge arena.
A very literal case of 'for whom the bell tolls' for the hapless Solis.

I'm glad someone else thought so. I've made that comment before watching that fight with people that "Tito had that crowd absolutely eating out of his hands. They LOVED him."

It's an absolutely party when Tito is on the way to the ring, but Hopkins wasn't supposed to crash that party

Well, I personally feel the most satisfying ring entrance was when Naz came in on the wires on a magic carpet. Satisfying because of the way the one dude tossed a cup of beer at him mid-entrance.

But probably the most extravagant was Anthony Hembrick's synchronized-with-his-cornermen dance routine before his fight with Booker T. Word. It was impressive but I think he should have spent more time in the gym than the dance floor. Maybe then he wouldn't have gotten himself starched in the first round.

I like Tyson Fury's entrance in the 1st Wilder fight. Far from the most theatrical of him, but it had some special atmosphere, he was pumped despite being a massive underdog. And a song was fitting.

Not sure what the most spectacular one was but I always said whatever it is you wore into the ring, ya gotta wear it on the way out also.
If you’re wearing a gladiator outfit or a Tarzan loin cloth, cool, but if you’re wearing that shit while being helped outta the ring after being stretched, you look like a real Gavoone
