Well, after nearly seven years of almost constant abuse, ridicule, racism etc the big useless traveller goes for the Heavyweight title tonight and becomes a millionaire in the process. He's lost his uncle and mentor in that time, his dad was away for most of and dealt with tragedy in his personal life. Yes, he says some rubbish, but that's the funniest part about him for me. I wish him all the best and, win or lose, he should be proud of himself.

Good luck to him. I hope he wins, he seems a nice bloke underneath all the chat

No criminal record or anything. It's even more remarkable when you look at his dad.

Yes Fury comes over well most of the time and has worked hard for his shot. If he wins he will be the genuine heavyweight champion of the world too no second rate champion. Good luck to him sticking it on Wlad and making the division more exciting.

He seems a great character , i'll give him that but I don't think he has the tools to win at the top level .

There's not really any 'stand out' wins on his record. Chisora was awful in their two fights and against Cunningham he was ropey but he's undefeated and has done what's been asked of him. Just can't make a case for him unfortunately but I really hope I am wrong. I think his best chance is the uppercut inside if he can get close enough and outmuscle Wlad and not get tied up. You know if he does manage to land a decent dig he's going to go hell for leather.

Maybe Tyson made Chisora look awful. Tyson has never had any praise for either win because somehow, despite getting schooled twice, people think Del could have won! He couldn't, he's a level below(and is terrified of Tyson).

Good post. He has got to where he is through the old fashioned route. English/Irish, British/Commonwealth and European titles. Intercontinental and International titles plus a few eliminators. I had to explain this to my mate yesterday who said he was only getting his shot because of 'his big mouth'! Only criticism is all the retirement talk as he is still a baby in heavyweight terms but maybe that's just the mindset he has to be in for this fight? All or nothing.

That thought crossed my mind when writing that post but Chisora was pretty awful especially in the first fight. Second fight Tyson did make it look easy and never broke sweat so yeah credit where it's due.

i've gone from liking him,to not liking him and back again,he's not taking the easy option,if he wins he's the man and i so hope he does,if he had a real dig on him i'd give him a very good chance,he's not as skillful we know that,but he lots of heart and guts,something we know wlad has lacked in the past.Makes me feel very old now though as i used to watch his dads fights and here we are cheering on his son,COME ON TYSON

Deserves the payday after losing a year due to the david haye debacle. Really hope he pulls it off but hes just not in the same class and i think he will get stopped convincingly.

If he does win he will need to send a present to Terry Oconnor who gifted him the win over John Mcdonald.....if he didnt come through thatbhe wouldnt be here now

I'm looking forward to this big fight, I spoke to Tyson's father in law this morning and it'll be crazy at his house if Tyson does win. He's up against it but a win will really shake the division up whish will be a good thing.

I think most people are behind Tyson and want him to give a good account of himself.

I've criticised Fury for years, for what I believe are perfectly fair and valid reasons. However my dislike of the Klitschko brand of anti-boxing runs so deep I have fully thrown myself on the caravan for this one - and set the Sat-Nav for THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD.

I love Fury. A real character but not nasty and despicable with it. He's eccentric and a bit controversial but I think he enriches the sport. He's an under-rated boxer as well. I wish him well tonight. I rate Klitschko very highly and I expect he'll knock Tyson out but if Tyson wins boxing will have the most charismatic heavyweight champion of the world since Ali. I don't see him handling Wlads power that's the bottom line.

He's a strange guy, one minute he has me laughing my head off and then he'll say something out of order, at least he's honest and not being a phoney, good luck to him, be amazing if he can pull it off, not sure he can though and he'll 100% have to stop him, he won't get the nod in Germany.

Well its restricting Furys better mobility for a start plus Wlads likely been training on this surface for weeks now

It will slow both fighters feet which would suit wlad having fury in front of him rather than on the outside
