Had no answers to the Mexican steaming in, couldn't use his "world class" jab "best in the business" to keep him from swarming him, was cock and balls defeating the skilled but lack of plan b

A nearly 40-year-old Klitschko losing to a legit top-5 guy doesn't sound much like "exposing".Chepppaaa wrote:wlad another fraud exposed
Imam was being compared to Hearns by some. It's unfortunate if you are an American fight fan because he was seen as one of the brightest of the young bunch.
Re: Another Fraud Exposed
There are tons of good young American fighters. Most fans have never even heard of this kid or have a clue of who he is. Now it will stay that way.Jpreisser wrote:A nearly 40-year-old Klitschko losing to a legit top-5 guy doesn't sound much like "exposing".Chepppaaa wrote:wlad another fraud exposed

Re: Another Fraud Exposed
If Imam is the real thing he will learn from this and be back.
But folks don't realize who Granados is.
He has never been stooped, has a draw with Cintron, and beat Soto Karass in that BKB deal.
The guy was a test Imam failed. Doesn't mean he can't be better for it.

19 straight title defenses. Loses as a 40 yr old. What a bum.victor-romeo wrote:guy was champ for like so long I don't even know like 9 years or something fraud?Chepppaaa wrote:wlad another fraud exposed
Re: Another Fraud Exposed
I didn't pick Granados to beat Imam but I'm not overly surprised. Imam clearly has offensive tools but otherwise his game is filled with holes, including mediocre defense and a tendency to switch off in prolonged spots. Granados is one tough dude and has given pretty much everyone he's been in with a fight.

Re: Another Fraud Exposed
It's funny I can remember DK calling out Floyd saying he was afraid of Imam. Imam showed no defensive ability whatsoever, he got hit with every punch that was thrown, he swoll up very easily and was totally befuddled once that kid took his best shots.
Imam showed no ability to make adjustments and I thought the stoppage was justified.

I don't much care for "Giant Boxing" because it's slow and lumbering. But your statement is pretty slow and lumbering as well.
Wlad's reign was/is (should he regain) the longest HW reign since Joe Louis. He was no fraud, and he appeared to duck no one.
He fought a tough fight with a bigger giant, and at a snail's pace and lost. I kinda sorta figured he would so I'm less surprised than most,
but he was no fraud, and he prevailed for quite some time. It's time to shake it up a bit, I hope Fury fights the best and we can sort out the new
contenders...Wlad can always try for a late life hail mary and see if he can ponderously return.
Maybe there should be another weight class so that these two tonners can have a "slow motion " title? Maybe call it "Sloth weight"? and 250 and below could be just HW's. Might bring a quick pace back to the heavies.

Not sure about his losses, but he beat up Cintron and clearly deserved a win.iamasadlittleboy wrote:...were any of Granados's losses...fair?

Re: Another Fraud Exposed
Granados showed a lot of grit cuz Imam was still catching him in the early and middle rds but he sucked it up and just kept coming.
Re: Another Fraud Exposed
Calling Imam a fraud is a little harsh, but agree he hasn't lived up to his early praises. He needs work, especially conditioning.
He gassed out and couldn't keep the guy off him. Credit to Granados, looked better as the fight went on. I thought for sure he was getting stopped early.
