Arturo Gatti's Amateur Career

I was just wondering if some one could give me Gatti's record in the amateur scene. Also if you could tell if he started the amateur career in Canada. Any other information would be apreciated. Thanks

Arturo Gatti started boxing in Montreal,Quebec.
He won many provincial championship and a few canadian championship all below the age of 18.
He represented Canada in the world jr championship in Peru in 91.
And lost the same years in the senior canadian championship to Mike Strange(a 3 time olympian) and right after moved to the states in New Jersey to join his brother Joe who was alreadey a pro there and he began his pro career.

According to boxing-records.com he won 3 Canadian Gold Gloves championships and 2 Canadian National Titles.
