I see where you're coming from, but after the Joshua KO I think Whyte needs someone with no ambition to ease him back in and build confidence. I'd totally back him to KO Cornish but if he's not 100% right mentally it's not worth the risk of sticking him in against someone with everything to prove.

Problem with Whyte is that he'll always turn up fat and his stamina will always let him down once he goes a few rounds. He absolutely blew it against AJ because he had nothing left after the first couple of rounds. He shot his load in the second which allowed AJ to recover in the third and then start beating him up for the remainder of the fight. If he had been in shape he could have put AJ under more pressure in the third. His chin went against him in the fight because a chin doesn't do anything offensively which meant he became nothing more than a durable punchbag for the last few rounds.

Totally agree and I wonder how good he could have been if he had trained properly and lived and breathed boxing , guess we'll never know

Chisora is mandatory for Helenius, so a fight with Whyte won't happen before this. If Chisora beats Helenius (entirely possible) he'll surely be hoping to defend against Joshua (his pension fund fight)

Chisora vs Whyte is an attractive fight but can you imagine the tedious build up, with both of them doing their 'Ghetto/Thug Life' act?

yea. it wont be Whytes next fight, but it will be one down the road I would imagine...
