Ike Ibeabuchi is back! And on the Pacquiao undercard in April!
I never thought I would see it.
The President is out, at large, apparently in shape and boxing in April on a major show!

Merry Christmas, faggots!

Jose Ribalta has never attempted a comeback. Another classic Henry clanger.
And if you bothered to read the article he has undergone the tests.
Let Ike box a journeyman on an undercard and we'll see what he looks like. What the hell else is he going to do? No one's employing that guy.

Maybe he can fight Mike Tyson for the heavyweight rapist prison championship of the world?
On the undercard Tony Ayala Jnr and Davey Hilton Jnr can fight for the paedophile rapist super middle title.

Better tell Steady Eddie as he had him lined up to face Eubank Jr as part of a stacked PPV. Maybe Chris can fight a Tupac-style hologram of Carlos Monzon instead.Fat Git wrote:Isn't he dead?reggaereggae wrote:

Is it not universally accepted that Tyson was stitched up? Let the man earn his living. If you don't like him, root against him, simple!reggaereggae wrote:Maybe he can fight Mike Tyson for the heavyweight rapist prison championship of the world?

Apart from possibly hard core supporters on a boxing forum I don't think so.SAPFO wrote:Is it not universally accepted that Tyson was stitched up? Let the man earn his living. Let's not be romantic, Tyson was a very bad dude from a young age.
He was constantly told by Cus D'amato that if he became the heavyweight champ then he could do whatever he wanted - and he behaved accordingly.

I thought he had been until I heard about this story.
It seems is if the USA have become as bad as the UK at deporting people!

Yes he is.... But that doesn't mean he can't get a licence in Nevada! If he's allowed a warm up he could still be dangerous.deadpan wrote:Better tell Steady Eddie as he had him lined up to face Eubank Jr as part of a stacked PPV. And as deadpan says, Eddie will be able so sell him as a dangerous world class corpse for Eubank Jnr!

Fast Eddie: "Chris Eubank Jnr will be having his most dangerous test againt world class, murderous punching Tony Ayala Jnr... Technically he's dead, but that was only six months ago. You have to remember Tony has only lost one fight in almost 15 years and that was to world class number 1 daddy Anthony Bonsante. This will be a can't miss fight on a stacked value for money PPV card"reggaereggae wrote:Yes he is.... But that doesn't mean he can't get a licence in Nevada! Was going to mention foreman as exception not the rule. And i do agree theres always a risk in boxing, which can be heightened ....HomicideHenry wrote:Someone ought to be criminally prosecuted for allowing a 42 year old man, who hasn't fought in over a decade, a license without proving he can still compete first. Where are the MRI results? Where are the sparring videos to gauge his abilities? Where are the psychiatric evaluations?.... I'm telling you that this man will fall flat on his face (eventually) just like Bert Cooper, Razor Ruddock and Jose Ribalta in recent years in their comebacks. It's a disgrace to the sport. We have enough issue and controversies without adding some has been, never was, to return to the ring to ultimately fail. George Foreman was the EXCEPTION, not the rule. Shame on Bob Arum and anyone else who is allowing this to happen.
However.
Providing he passes relevant medicals and MRI scan, which he will have to if he hasnt already, i dont have an issue with it. Im sure there are worse fighters out there competing who are much younger, and a lot of guys who are 42 + still fighting who are worse.
Most importantly for Ike, he has to earn money somehow. Doubt he has a bulging bank balance and, well, would you employ him!!!

I'll now research Bert Cooler and Jose Ribalta. RR won couple of fights did he not!?HomicideHenry wrote:Someone ought to be criminally prosecuted for allowing a 42 year old man, who hasn't fought in over a decade, a license without proving he can still compete first. Re: Ike Ibeabuchi is back! And on the Pacquiao undercard in April!
I imagine it will play out very much like the Tony Ayala comeback. He'll whack five or so journeyman/ex-fringe contenders and then come unstuck in his first test. Foreman mark 2 was at his most monstrous at 40, 41 - by 43 he was beginning to unravel.
That being said, the division is so weak now. . . . You never know.

I could see him being deported and than coming to britain like most nigerians with a false passport.he could get a job in a clinton cards or cupcakes shopWales wrote:Was going to mention foreman as exception not the rule. Exactly. I think he'd have been a serious threat to everyone but Lewis in '99, even Holyfield, and if he's fit and focused now, he's not that old for a current heavyweight.Tuan_Jim wrote:That being said, the division is so weak now. . . . You never know.
We talk about Haye's renewed potential in mind of Klitschko's apparent slide, but if Ibeabuchi has any kind of speed left (supposing he still has his chin and power), he'd be all wrong for Haye.

He's been in the slammer for a good few years. Irrespective of his physical gifts and skill level, prison is not an environment to hone these skills and for boxing talent to flourish.
