David Haye should not be under consideration; he hasn't fought anyone with a pulse in nearly five years & has been inactive for a lengthy period.
My vote goes to Fury at the moment.

I'd say they could all beat each other on any given day. Apart from Martin, who shouldn't be anywhere near this poll.

Tyson Fury. He went to Germany and outboxed a long standing champion that had hardly lost a round in years, let alone a fight.
I also get the impression that he will get in there with anyone, which is something that can't be said of Wilder who seems to be content with making endless voluntary defences against soft opposition -that suggest a lack of confidence to me.
As for Joshua, it is quite clear that fastcar Eddie will not be lettng him in with Haye or a puncher for the forseeable future.
Haye still has a lot of power, but I think he needs to take half a stone off so that he is as fast as possible against the big guys.
Klitschko. I think he will lose to Fury again and retire.
Povetkin -I think he would beat Wilder, if given the chance.

As things stand it has to be Fury. Opinion could end up changing a few times during the course of the year though. The guy Martin looks a total dumpling! When I think of some of the fighters who never won a world title and there he is with a world belt it boils ma piss!

I know. Someone like David Tua never won the title and he would have iced Martin in about 30 secs tops!Stuarty30 wrote:As things stand it has to be Fury. Tua was the first name I thought of when writing that. Just shows how wrong the IBF were to strip Fury having that turnip holding their strap! The manner he won it in and his comments afterwards were cringeworthy.big lennox wrote:I know. Fury by a distance.
Re: Best Heavyweight on the planet as of January 2016
Its a matter of opinion so id say wlad even tho fury beat him id still pick wlad,he beat haye and povetkin on ur list, martin doesnt even come into it cause imo he gets knocked out by all on your list,i think deontay would get sparked by wlad haye and povetkin, fury would get sparked by deontay and povetkin so that leaves wlad who would probably beat all on your list 9/10
Re: Best Heavyweight on the planet as of January 2016
Irregardless of who is the 'best', (I'm not sure), Tyson Fury is the man to beat.

Has to be Fury until proven otherwise.
Up until they fought, Wlad was clearly the dominant heavyweight and Fury out-boxed him comfortably away from home

There's only one Tyson Fury.
Fury is the man to beat at the moment unquestionably.

Fury.
This isn't even a debate.

Fury - beats all of them at the moment.
Re: Best Heavyweight on the planet as of January 2016
It is not a matter of opinion at all. Someone is the best heavyweight on the planet and that is not an opinion but a reality and fact. Until or unless they all fight to prove it, what people write or say is a matter of opinion yes. Some will be right, some will be wrong but the answer to the question is a fact, not opinionthechump wrote:Its a matter of opinion

What if you thought he was good enough to beat Tyson Fury?Syntax Error wrote:David Haye should not be under consideration; he hasn't fought anyone with a pulse in nearly five years & has been inactive for a lengthy period.

Listen its a matter of opinion to who thinks the best heavyweight on the planet is. This is a forum were every person has a different opinion like u just said so why are u dancing around what i put then say oh yes it is a matter of opinion. The answer to this question is opinion on the person who answers, its as simple as that. The best heavyweight on the planet isnt fact till they all fight each other to find out so at present its opinion based ok buddytobyh5 wrote:It is not a matter of opinion at all. Re: Best Heavyweight on the planet as of January 2016
Haha its not ridiculous is it,its my opinion,im a realist not a fantasist fury beat wlad but he never dominated him,if he knocked wlad out after proper schooling him my answer would be different but he never really did he,he won the fight which was hard to score but not dominated, this is my opinion so all you fury nuthuggers chill your beansRexob wrote:thechump wrote:Its a matter of opinion so id say wlad even tho fury beat him id still pick wlad,he beat haye and povetkin on ur list, martin doesnt even come into it cause imo he gets knocked out by all on your list,i think deontay would get sparked by wlad haye and povetkin, fury would get sparked by deontay and povetkin so that leaves wlad who would probably beat all on your list 9/10

I don't see any heavyweight capable of beating all other heavies. It's an interesting time, I think.
