Just saw Tyson Fury on the show that first aired the 26th.

Say what you want about him, but one thing he has got right.

He is a waaaaayyyyyy better soundbite as champion than Klitschko.

You cannot watch a story on Fury without laughing your head off at some point,

And that is good for the sport.

No, I don't think he will beat Wlad in the rematch, but you know what?

Part of me, the part that likes excitement in my favorite sport?

That part will be rooting for Tyson...

I think Tyson is in for hell in the rematch.

Tactically, Wlad will be much different.

He will throw lead rights to dampen Fury's jab.

He will bend his knees, make Tyson punch at angles he is uncomfortable with, then counter.

Fury will not end the fight vertical.

If he is shot it could play out like you say.

But I didn't see a shot fighter that night.

I saw a fighter completely unprepared for the gameplan his opponent had obviously
meticulously worked on for months.

Well, now it is Klitschko who has months to prepare for the only way Fury could beat him.

Fury is not a true Gypsy or Roma as they prefer to be called. He is of Irish descent. If they want to call themselves Travelers fine but they are not related to the Roma who originate from Northwestern India.

I understand the distinction you are making.

But, Irish Travelers are often referred to as gypsy folk and included in the broader group that also has the Roma folk in it.

Fury's a great guy. Entertaining.

He'll upend Klitschko again not because he's supremely talented---he's fairly mediocre.

But he'll win the rematch simply because the Ukranian in badly on the slide. Didn't his lackluster performance against Jennings give you a clue that his time was nearly up?

Despite his limited skills, who knows? Fury may reign for a while. It's not like the heavyweight division is loaded with any talent. There's no Bowes, Lewis', Lyles, Nortons or Youngs out there. Not even a Cooney.

As long as Fury avoids a bout with Wilder, he can hang onto his crown.

And I would miss him if he lost the belt and disappeared into obscurity. It's not every Brit boxer who can get the British Board to consider punishing him for making un-PC comments about homosexuals and women.

The board apparently isn't pleased about him spouting controversial remarks on non-boxing related subjects.
Gee, I wonder how they would have handled Muhammad Ali. Thrown him behind bars?

Oh well, what can you expect? This is a country where its Parliament took the time to seriously debate banning Donald Trump for his common sense
solutions to ills plaguing America.
