Hatton fight tickets...

I have never been to a fight but I am making arrangements to go to the Hatton fight in Manchester on October 2nd. how much do the tickets cost and what area would you recommend to get the tickets for. I'm just looking for a good position where I can see the action, not too close but not too far. I am wondering if I really should even buy the tickets knowing that the fight probably will not even happen. Any help would be appreciated.

sure buy the seats just above the floor area but raised slightly, think they are a oner / 80 quid.

Take a tip, and wait till the last week of the fight before splashing out. We all know the recent history of these 'big' fights here.

exactly.... REAL_DEAL got shafted badly recently when Hatton/Calzaghe fights fell through.... tickets, booked travel, booked time off work.....

top price tickets wont mate no, depends how many people you want to get for. (anything a oner up)
Mos tthe people who go to the MEN are there for hatton only. The atmosphere very often for the undercard fights is fornicating rubbish. So most folk pay 30-50 quid to go watch hatton and dont go into the arena til 5 mins b4 the main event.

Last time I tried to organise a boys hooolie up there. 7 of us, had to send the lot back cancel hotels, train tickets the fornicating lot, I wertent happy.
That was after the time before when pinto didnt show.

I for one wont be buying them til Sep at the earliest.
And probs just a couple.

Yeah you'd be crazy to book weeks in advance. Every morning you'd be checking the internet praying you don't see "Hatton seeking new opponent" splashed everywhere.

Yeah, I guess there is a lot of time to go yet, only July, any number of problems could arise before then.

Sports Network announced Antonio Mesquita as Hatton's opponent in April - then within a few hours said it would be Carlos Vilches.

I think you will find that is Omar Weiss J me old mucker.

I know Hatton weighs in heavy, but surely Sheika would be a bridge too far being a super middleweight?

most of the ringside seats are conn, bad view the best area is

Blocks 114 - 115 right side, seats number between 13+ as the best side. 113, 103,104,105.

ringside the other decent blocks are B (Camera facing) block H L, E

Stay away from block A !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! C !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes I can't trust Hatton or Warren to deliver. Harris will be here if he doesn't get injured though but I wouldn't be surprised if Hatton got an "injury" a few weeks before the fight.

I will wait til September.

If this is a 'must see' fight for you, lirva33, then I would gamble and buy a ticket now. We know Hatton has threatened to walk if he doesn't get Harris next.

Bottom above the floor is 60 quid, top of 114 etc is 40. floor is 150.

Too big an expense I fear. If I can get press passes, which is dubious, I would go, but there's still travel plus hotels to consider, it comes to about 140 quid for the night for travel and accomodation.

It is indeed. The last Hatton fight I went to, which is some time ago now, was a real corker. I wish Ricky could fight in London occasionally, we never get any big fights down here.
